The Way of the Messenger
​Some years ago, during the advent of my first awakening, my journey gifted me with a guide. The relationship started out as my first serious foray into writing when I volunteered to help a random business encounter write his life story. Through the process, I was introduced to a set of concepts that he was practicing to heal himself: physically, emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually, and that he was teaching others as a life coach. These concepts make up a large portion of the Way of the Messenger; a title stemming from the novel I am channeling: Messengers of the First Order of Love.

Around this time, I had begun evolving toward my authenticity and the house of cards that was my life was crumbling. I enlisted this person to teach me his way of being. Through practice I have augmented it with additional guidance I have been gifted along my journey.
A Messenger honours the following as Truths:
Love
- is a verb, in other words it is demonstrated through my actions
- my heart always speaks what action is the loving action to take; I merely need to ask it
- acting out of love is a choice I make
- every human interaction is either an act of love or a call for love
​- I, as do all, have a honeycomb of love through which the love of Soul-Source shines, its size a product of my expansion into love
- I, as do all, operate through a unique love language that can be sculpted
Harmony
- the oneness of all things existing in balance
- my honeycomb of love is connected to Soul-Source, and by extension, to all others. All is felt by one and all
- acts of love promote balance; acts of fear disturb it
Choice
- between living in love or living in fear
- as a sovereign soul, I am gifted with free-will to choose the life that best serves my need
- release judgement: there are no right or wrong or good or bad choices; only paths taken leading to their natural consequence
- release expectation: I state my intention, act out of love in alignment with that intention, and navigate off what shows up
- as a sovereign soul, I am free to discard choices that no longer serve me in favour of new ones that do
Change
- I exist in a constant state of evolution, either expanding into love or contracting into fear
- to expand into love is to grow my honeycomb, to contract into fear is to block it

Courage
- an inward focused act distinguished from bravery as an outward facing act
- to heal my wounded soul, embrace my vulnerabilities, stand in my truth, and seek help; despite my fear
​
Humility
- be devoid of ego
- let go of judgement
- it is about me, not the other; always. If I am having an issue with anyone or anything, I am actually having an issue with myself. I am being shown something I have the opportunity to heal
- acknowledge, accept, then embrace my imperfections
Faith
- free myself from the illusion of control
- everything happening for me is for reasons conspiring in my favour
- I will be provided all I need for my evolution when it is time for me to receive it, up to, and including, never
- I choose to look to the future with wonder rather than worry
Nobility
- to be exalted in character and conduct
- the 8 virtues of:
1. intention
2. responsibility
3. respect
4. honesty
5. patience
6. generosity
7. positivity
8. leadership
